Movie premiere of "Lucky“ in Brussels

An open air movie premiere in Brussels in January. The company Evented GmbH screened the movie “Lucky” as open air movie premiere on one of the most beautiful marketplaces in Europe, the Grand Place in Brussels. More than 3.000 people watched the Belgian comedy about the police dog Lucky and his kidnapper. They celebrated this impressive movie premiere together with actors and representatives from politics and society – an event that has not taken place in the capital of Belgium in this form before.

As the city had quite complex guidelines the technical equipment could be set up only a few hours before the event started and it had to be dismantled shortly after the movie ended – without making a lot of noise! EVENTED decided to use an impressive inflatable AIRSCREEN® with a projection surface of 16mx8m, as an extraordinary cinema experience should be offered to the big crowd. It was an awesome atmosphere in front of historical town houses, a city museum and the imposing town hall.

A perfect picture with 4K resolution was possible through two digital film projectors (Christie CP4230) and a HK Audio sound system with 7.1 Dolby Surround created an excellent sound.
